About / runslinux
A personal site for building, breaking, fixing, documenting, and occasionally overengineering things.
What is RunsLinux?
RunsLinux is a personal corner of the web for self-hosting, Linux,
networking, radio, weather, software experiments, collections,
home automation, vehicles, and whatever else happens to become
interesting enough to build.
Some pages are practical, some are project notes, and some exist
mostly because building them was fun.
system info
$ site runslinux.com
$ status still running
$ focus Linux / self-hosting / building things
$ policy break it, fix it, document it
What you'll find here
- Self-hosted services and interactive labs
- 3D printing, arcade, automotive, and hardware projects
- Weather, radio, ADS-B, networking, and automation
- Collections and small experiments that probably did not need to exist
Site philosophy
Keep it useful, keep it understandable, and leave enough room
for unnecessary terminal jokes, full-screen effects, and other
questionable engineering decisions.
